Twenty
Thirty
Hating to wait
Not just for a
Date
Ride
Promotion
But for insight
Answers should be
Fingertip available
Not something
Filtering slowly
Incremental light
Conscious mind
Waiting
While the puzzle goes together
Underneath
Advice to
Sit with it
Met with frustration
Incomprehension
Patience grasshopper
Can't push the river
Somehow
Sometime
It became second nature
To wait
Sit with unknowing
Trusting the filtering light
Everything in its own time
So much easier to just
Wait

Terrific prose and so true. There is an old proverb, some say German some say Dutch, "We are too soon old and too late smart." With a little patience most of us would be further ahead today.

Magnificent poem, Tara! We wait, but too late! The life is already behind us! It would be necessary to live the present as the bird on the branch .Pas easy! There is always this taste d " eternity in us! It is necessary to read or to reread Albert Camus!

Great thought processes you have discussed here, dear Tara. I love to muse over the "long wait". About what 'haunting' by your subconscious while you wait, while sometimes you don't even know, that you wait. At an encounter. Yes, it is waiting to meet something. You ask yourself unconsciously, with whom, for what? When will someone find, meet, and feel, the largest, freely given to him, inner wealth? ;-) I like the words Mike wrote here too.
