Description
This boat is anchored on the Thu Bon River in Hoi An. The Hoi An footbridge spans the river behind the boat. Hoi An, a historic town, is thriving with tourism. Many houses, often 100's of years old, have been built with bricks salvaged from the remains of nearby Hindu and Buddhist temples of the old Champa Kingdom.

Shining work.
Ditto the other comments..thanks for sharing
Love the capture that water looks rather dirty though..
Very cool photo no direct drinking from the river
Great shot. I like the boat with the eyes!
All boats have 'eyes' on them. It was explained to us why. I forgot the exact purpose, but it has something to do with their religious beliefs.
The water definitely is polluted and undrinkable. A lot of the people live on their boats and make a living doing it. The toilet, or more appropriate, the outhouse, usually hangs over the tail of the boat and any effluent goes directly into the river.
BEAUTY
I find the boats very interesting, the water quality less so!
