Description
This year has been a banner year for we humans in the U.S. to view Snowy Owls. Many of the local beaches here have attracted these gorgeous visitors, and I was lucky enough to be able to snap a halfway decent shot of one yesterday. :o)

:o) I wish it was just luck...they've become local celebrities of sorts, and there's always a fair crowd of photographers around. All you have to do is look for the group pointing cameras... ;o)
Wow... that must be fun. I've always loved that particular Owl, my Grandfather had one all the years I was growing up. Very nice and I'm glad that you've got these creatures so close at hand!

fabulous shot!!!!! (they are even 'here'... -in our province, which was a mistake! ;-) they took the wrong boat. landed on 1 that was anchored off the Canadean coast and took off when the -Dutch- coast was near) awesome capture!!

2014 was a great year for photographing them! They show up almost every winter around here, but not as many since...😔
