Nice work on this cool capture, Roxie. I loved the clever title and the pov you went with also.
tis a shame that the decided to not use these anymore - not only were they useful they were iconic of the Railroad at large. Great capture Roxy
Very colorful, vibrant, weather-beaten & grungy image. The postwork style you chose fits the content perfectly...
Amazing true life art
That brings up some old memories. When I was young my father worked on a freight train like this. He would bring me with him sometimes and the caboose was my fav, although the engine was pretty cool too. It was an adventure... :)
pristine capture! 10*s my friend. really love the contrast, the super old look and the memories this holds. very fine work behind the lens, Roxy. do you use an SLR style or the screen view back? i prefer SLR's..
I shoot through the viewfinder not the screen. Although I always check the screen in either histogram or light blowout mode after I shoot.
Love the pov. Outstanding image!
Beautiful pov and variations of textures.
Great POV and composition – feels like you are there in grass looking up!
Excellent shot Roxy and beautiful photo-work! Great capture!!!
Great pov and nice post!
Very nice work. Aloha
Always interesting to see how they get rebuilt!
excellent capture!!!!
The years are showing, and with every crack or spot of rust, a story.
It's sad they did away with cabooses. Nice shot!
Excellent work Roxie!!!
Great POV and fantastic image... wonderfully captured !!!
Wow! This is great! I really like the perspective you've got here and the clarity really makes for some excellent details. The oldness of everything and the fact that it's a caboose certainly does create the title. Nice touch of postwork. Your eye and technique are certainly growing in leaps and bounds.
What a great style for this! I really like the focus on the steps and the texture that you captured with the aging paint and metal!
This is excellent, Roxy! The textures and colors are just delicious - I can almost reach out and touch this.. Gorgeous! I love these old cabooses - If I ever win the lottery, I'm going to find a nice bit of land to build a house on... And I'll find an old caboose somewhere, and fix it up as a guest house. I think that would be soooo neat - I'd probably end up sleeping in it, myself! LOL!
Beautiful capture.
excellent
The end of an old train and the end of the ride this train ... wonderful pun. A piece of nostalgia with beautiful textures ... the old weathered flaking paint and the design of the good old days ..... AWESOME!!
Wonderful capture, Roxy!! :o)
