Description
Here, at last is the first GFTNA of 2014! Now that I have PP2014 set up - and more or less working right - on the new system, I hope to move the story along a little quicker. Stay tuned - things are about to become rather intense!
Here's a big Happy Birthday to Faemike55 and all the other January birthdays! I've kinda fallen down on the birthday dedications lately - hope to remedy that soon.
I'm on a little bit of vacation this week, and next week it's back on zombie shift until the contract with Deluxe ends on January 31st. After that, Ricoh takes over servicing Deluxe's 27 high-speed digital printers. And my future? Who knows.... I just know I couldn't stomach another 2 years of these rotating shifts - and overtime is mandatory if you work for Ricoh...
Anyway, I hope there's a field service position I can move in to, but if not... We'll just have to see what happens. I have a few ideas...
On a more pleasant note, I hope everyone had a great Christmas/New Year's, and I hope 2014 brings health, happiness, and creativity to all my friends here!

Splendid work once again Rod, and I'm thrilled to see this next chapter in the series. I'm eager to see how the story unfolds, as you pointed out it is preparing to take a dramatic turn. Sorry to hear about the turmoil in you're job right now Rod, and I hope things settle down soon so you can get off those zombie hours. I'll be sure and keep your job situation in my prayers, that everything will work out best for you.

Woah, I think that landlord is tipping off the bad guys. Probably on the payroll, he has a shifty look about him. nods Beautiful renders all around here. I really admire your consistent lighting throughout these scenes. You really keep the lighting just right frame to frame.. a challenging task. I'll be praying for you to find what you want to do. I know at our workplace they've been having the schedulers work mandentory OT, and I know a few who put in 20-25 hours a week and have been doing that for months. I'm lucky that I don't have that. I just get a lot of 'special tasks' my way, and then I'm doing Customer Service too. It really wears on me. I'm working at home this weekend, figuring out the SAP testing system as I'll be doing retrofit testing for my department. I figure it's something good to put on the resume. I just wish they'd pick if I'm on the phones or doing all this other stuff, I don't like doing both.

The guy reminds me of one of your pig characters. I'm thinking maybe this episode will end with a bang. At the very least the girls will not be having an easy exit. Those first two panels must have taken a lot of work to set up. Bet you're glad you have a huge graphics card now.
