Description

River Walk San Antonio, Texas Lucinda (myrrhluz), Bill (bmac62) and I wandered the River Walk a few nights before Christmas. A strand of purple holiday lights gave this grass a different look. (No, it isn't postwork.)

From the title I thought you might be in Colorado. A beautiful and somewhat eerie image.

A very cool idea, but how did you make the bright spot, or was it an underwater light? Anyway it looks great!

Underwater light. The San Antonio River is all concrete through town, and they've installed different colored lights along the bottom.

They had light ropes wrapped around poles that flashed a couple different colors. This one was purple-flash-to-green, as I recall. In order to get purple grass, I had to click at just the right time! (Mad skillz, dude.) :P

How amazing this effect of the colors are here, Tara! So very surprising to discover. It must have been a very joyfully walk with Lucinda and Bill. Anyway, the fun shines from this terrific shot, my friend..

This is really cool, Tara! The lights did some neat things to this grass, and leave it to you to capture it so perfectly!
