Ooh, beautiful photo, nice capture of those wonderful reflections and colors. I used to play one of those back when I was in school, I miss how beautiful they look like this, makes me remember some wonderful times. Lovely!
A wonderful picture of my favourite brass instrument. Michael Ppaff, who used to play horn for the BSO, famously missed his 10 bar slot in some piece whilst doing the Ximenes crossword. They had driven to Exeter and that was all he had to play that day!
Great shot Alan, you should have bought it to keep Wally awake at night!!
Interesting instrument. Aloha
Amazing capture. God bless.
That's a cool capture and though not my instrument, brings back so many memories.
You show one can photograph memories....
Amazing capture,
Excellent photo! :-)
The French horn is one of the sweetest sounding brass instruments. Nice shot.
Such a fantastic photo and brass instrument. You should have buy it, Alan. And learn to make music by this, is good for your lungs, and for the mood of your family :).( btw, my grandfather was conductor, and composer, also from a brass band.)
like it
This brings back a time mercifully long gone! I had planned on starting out on the flute, but fell in love with the French horn and decided that would be my instrument. I was the world's worst French horn player, so I put it away and took up the flute after all, at which I excelled! Played properly, the French horn has the most beautiful sound. So mellow. A lovely shot!
GREAT SHOT
Very nice shot and colour contrast
I tried playing a Baritone when in school, but decided to only screw up playing a cornet/trumpet. beautiful horn and foto
Very lovely, and the real question is, did you buy it? Excellent shot!
A superb shot. Fantastic details.
Quite good still life.
Creative choice of subject.
Wonderful image of a beautiful horn. Looks to be in excellent condition.
A nice still life photograph for the Holiday season.Best wishes for the New Year.
I'm pretty good with a pipe bender but the chap that made that is the top man.
impressive find and cool capture! ;o)
A beautiful looking horn and some special patterns - beautiful against the blue!
Great idea!! Even more to looks than sound;)
