Description
it was late and the sun is behind the trees. someone today told me not to paint in the sun or shoot into the sun, The trees was blocking the sun.

Beautiful work. I like what I see here. You are a fine artist.
very beautiful colors and reflections
possible damage to your camera's sensor
yes that is true but I made sure the trees blocked the sun
through your beautiful photos, I knew Lake Martin, but here is a beautiful acrylic impressionist painting you have made ... with all my admiration Jocko!
A most splendid painting, Jocko! Love the colors and the feel of this fine work! Bravo and many kudos on your great creativity!
Reflections that won't quit in this very cool capture, Jock.
I think this painting looks fabulous Jock, and I'm so glad you decided to paint this scene.
Beautifully done
You are a man of many talents....awesome work...
WOW....Beautiful image my friend, loved the colors and textures, congratulations!
Fantastic work Jock! the only reason NOT to take a shot of the sun with a digital camera is that it will destroy the sensor as Richard pointed out. as for not painting in the sun, why not? if it is there, then by all means, paint it in. your painting is an expression of you and what you see I like the painting very much and makes me want to take a trip down there to see this lake that you love so much
Look nice the reflection too ((5++))
That is an amazing painting. I love the reflection effect. You're really masterful with the brush.

I completely agree with you Jock and this is proof.
when something is stopping the pure sunlight you can get fantastic images! the deep light makes the trees golden and create a wonderful reflection! the whole scene looks so very light and glassy! ;o)
