Description
Some years ago this young maiden's miserable, wicked stepmother conspired with the local practitioner of black magic to curse this beautiful girl so no man would ever marry her. The spell was to make the young woman transform into a fawn when the moon became full. Here we see her resting in her secret cave as the full moon rises overhead and she is partially transformed into a fawn.
No happy ending to this story. One day while she was in her deer form, a hunter spied her and shot her with his arrow. As she died, she transformed back into her human form. The hunter never killed another deer again.

I can't tell you how much I love this. The lighting is perfect. The grass really helps integrate the scene into the background. You did a masterful job on this. Made me happy just to look at it. The story is just too sad though.
