Description
My fur baby, Miss Trina del Ray, wondering "why is mom tugging on my quilt and whistling at me when I'm trying to go to sleep?" Taken on a bitterly cold winter's night as the two of us were veging on the couch at 2 in the morning. Me working on a bottle of Buffalo Trace Kentucky bourbon, watching MI-6 on late night public television, and trying to figure out when I can pull the plug on my current career and move back to the lab where I did my grad school work.
Miss Softy doesn't care about life's problems as long as she has a warm bed and is fed. Tuna treats are a bonus and make life especially good. Wish I could learn to live in the moment like she does.

What a charming capture! I adore kitties, and mine always looks very disgruntled when I have to have my share of the covers.. imagine! I can understand the desire to be in one spot, but we have all enjoyed your adventures so. I hope that we still get vacation pics. :)

A lovely fuzzyface, and a superb capture, Roxy! Sometimes it's great to just chill and think about things, my friend! the plug may be pulled on my career whether I want it or not... That's OK.... In any case, I'll be getting out of that hellhole I've been stuck in for the last 3 1/2 years at the end of January. After that...... I hope to go back to field service if they have a place for me...

Love this shot...bw is good. Our cats have it made, as I am sure is the case with Trina del Ray. They are smart enough to come and get breakfast, then back to a chair or bed to snooze it off.
