Description
I think that most of you know that we live on a lake and the purpose of the lake is that during a Florida hurricane, all of that rain water has a place to go. Our 32 unit condo association installed a pump to supply water, from the lake, for our irrigation system of 210 sprinklers. We use a Styrofoam Canada Goose to suspend the intake pipe up out of the mud so we do not clog the pump. She is a Blue Winged Teal Duck and her only teal color is in the tips of her wings. I thought that the photo was cute and I liked the shimmering reflection.
Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favorites and comments. They are very much appreciated.

Most excellent shot!
very cool capture and an innovative way of maintaining the status quo. I just had to download Hitchin' a Ride from Amazon.com
This is great! :-)
Awesome picture and funny !!!!
A perfect or should I say a hilarious landing spot - for another duck, 'no man is an island' - comes to mind but that would be wrong, right ? ... cool snap Dana ;P BB
An unusual and amusing sight.
guess it did not make a impression on the duck
after reading what you said, I can tell that the goose is fake. still an outstanding capture and funny
One very funny shot. Wonder what that duck is thinking? Super on zoom, nice shot.
Very good capture and photo!!
This is a great shot! The decoy is very well made, but when I first saw the shot I said to myself, "no self-respecting goose would calmly accept a duck on its back like that". This is certainly a fun shot with lovely reflections...well spotted. Thanks for sharing. :)
Very nice capture, Dana, the reflects are superb!
This really ought to be a shot in 'The Planet's Funniest Animals'! :D Great shot. Keep it up!
Sometimes we are there at just the right moment ! Very cool picture...
Love it! Aloha
Well Dana, you had me fooled! I just accepted the goose as real and wondered how it would allow a different species on its back...now I think I'm the silly goose!
pure magic, i love it
The goose seems very real and the duck on her back is very cute, excellent capture, Dana !!
