This is a very dramatic photo Richard. What a sad sight to see things in such bad condition due to the drought
I feel bad for the critters that depend on the water.
That must have been one heck of a drought ! it a very dynamic image, well captured
interesting how it looks when it is dry! ;o)
where is this? (we had snow on the ground yesterday morning :-)
Wow! Not good!
very impressive in a bad way Great capture
Not good for the fishes
It is frightening to see so little water!
Very interesting photo!
It is a scary thing.
Seriously low but a nice picture.
Sorry to see that, they need rain and a lot of it. Great photo at any rate. Stan
Wow! Sure shows the effect
WOW!!!!! That's really dried up, Richard. Cool shot!
It will take a lot of rain to refill this lake... Interesting shot. Aloha
Great shot!!!!
I am always amazed that we can build a pipeline from Canada to Texas to refine Canada's tar oil sands, but we cannot build a pipeline from the Eastern US to the Western US to move flood waters where they can be put to good use. Why can't we build a diversion pipeline to ease the flooding of the Mississippi and other river valleys and carry it to the western us to help in the drought? I guess there is just no profit margin in helping folks.
I agree 100 %
Not a good thing.
Super shot Richard :)
Excellent photo.
Great shot! but the water is dramatically low!!!
Sad to see things like this - hope it changes soon. Excellent capture, Richard! I think UVDan has the right idea.. We have the technology.... Just not the right motivation.

When it all gets down to it, no matter how powerful, we all survive on the good graces of Mother Nature and are at the mercy of climate change. Cool capture!
