Description
The building of the church, located in the neighborhood of Kastro in Chora (Mykonos Town) started in 1425 and was not completed until the 17th century. The whitewashed church actually consists of five churches attached all together: The four churches (Saint Estathios, Saint Sozon, Saint Anargyroi and Saint Anastasia) are all on the ground and constitute the base of the fifth church that has been built on top of them (Source: Wikipedia).

Wowser! I'd have to wear sunglasses over my sunglasses. Gorgeous, but VERY bright!! I like seeing what appears to be ruined half walls. So interesting!
Superb. It must be the law to paint building white in Greece:) They do make a striking contrast with that blue Mediterranean sky.
A lovely capture and fantastic information Sig! You have to love that sky!

Superb, the light in Greece makes it hard sometimes to get a good clean shot in the height of the day but you managed to get a wonderful capture here, excellent shot

Super capture, especially with all that white. Interesting church, it's architecture is lovely and soft vs the more modern structures around it!
