It's a wonderful idea!
This really tugs at my heartstrings...True Love never dies, and the one we love is always with us. This is a beautiful render, the lighting is great...it really illuminates the picture and heightens the emotion. You can see he is only partially there, a ghost who is still very connected with his love, and the trust that they will be together again...perhaps in the Other World, or perhaps the next life. Beautiful work. On my screen it really comes out fine. The lighting is dramatic with highs on her and fades to black on the apparition and background. I think it is well conceived and well rendered.
