Description
This piece was created in Corel Painter X3 along with some post work in another paint package from an original photograph. To get the true essence of this piece I would advice you to select the Mega Zoom Version and once loaded click on the image to zoom. This applies to all images where I offer Mega Zoom Version, you should then be able to move around the image using wheel of mouse or keyboard cursor keys.. if you have a large monitor 26"+ there will be less moving around.

good portrait!!!
It is interesting what you have chosen to include in the background. You look glum!
Nicely done!
he is cute
The clock was included to remind us all that from birth we are counting down our life, time waits for no man or woman, it's on-going and makes us think about space and time... what is there beyond... can space be infinite?... if not then what is there at the end?, there is so much more than we know and only when our lives come to an end do we know and yet clearly cannot always be aware of past lives as vividly as events in our current lifetimes. I think art and all creativity is an expression of our need to present our lifetime and for those who follow us to see we lived, we created and we enjoyed doing so...along with all the ups and downs that comes with life in general. When I look at old sepia photographs they can be haunting to think all the people in them are long gone yet there they are happy and sharing their lives... they lived they loved and people hopefully loved them too and you hope they had a happy next lifetime or afterlife reflecting their hopeful good in their mortal existence.
Good portrait !!!
