Description
After a few exciting and special days, here I'm again.
This time with two mating Dragonflies. (taken two days ago)
In reality they are very small, a little less than 6 cm.
The days with Miriam were extraordinarily beautiful.
We had a lot of fun, and also very great conversations.
In short, it was an enrichment to us all.
With the windows, we had bad luck. First, all the windows were removed,
and when they went to get the new ones, an employee of the warehouse
had done something stupid, and four of our windows were totally broken.
Now we're below sitting behind chip boards. And waiting until the new windows will arrive.
We can laugh a lot to it, making many jokes about the situation with our 'splendid' view.
I still have a lot of cleaning, but will do this slowly.
Thank you for your suggestions on my previous upload, I thought it was very nice of you.
Here the denouement : it was a strange flower of a pumpkin.
Sorry, I'm too busy to do much on the Internet,
So goodbye, and many cordial greetings to you all, from behind the chip boards. ;-)
Zoom will help.
Thanks to Andrea, I could search for the following information:
Sympetrum is a genus of small to medium-sized skimmer dragonflies,
known as darters in the UK and as meadowhawks in the North America.
The red one is the male.
In Dutch: Heide Libelle.

A fantastic capture Jacomina. I can almost remember when I did things like this!!! SSSHHH don't tell Julie!! Lol. What bad luck with the windows but at least you can smile about it.
No point in crying! These are Darters, by the way! You were clever to get this pic, Mies!
A great capture and that means more dragonflies maybe one day I might be able to capture one (LOL @ Jayfar's comment) The colour and detail in this image is excellent!
