Description
Questions arise in your mind as you behold the numerous floating globes around after traveling to this unfamiliar dimension: what is the nature of the orbs? Are they natural formations, perhaps concentrated bodies of some unknown form of energy, or were they created by some intelligent agency, and if so for what purpose? Are they works of art, religious symbols, sorcerous artifacts, or technological devices of some sort, possibly weapons? Perhaps even all of these at once?
Alternatively, could they be… alive? Even sentient? If so, how would you communicate with them? Would they be benign or hostile, or regard you with fear? Would they have hopes and fears, and form societies and cultures?
Then a further idea arises in your mind which fills you with awe: could each of them actually be a world unto itself, like a planet?
I leave it to your imagination. :)
