Description

It has not been the best year for insect shots. Too hot for me and apparently too hot and dry for them. The extended drought has killed a lot of the plants that were insect attractors. I used to have a nice patch of Passion Vine plants that were host plants for Gulf Fritillary butterflies, but not this year. Despite all this, I did manage to get this shot. My thanks to those who have taken the time to comment on previous postings. The feedback is appreciated. Lee
