Description
Happy Birthday my friend!!! Denise posted some spectacular photos when she visited the Dale Chihuly glass exhibit in Seattle. I later found a smaller exhibit was opening in Saint Petersburg, Florida, this was my best photo. The title of this display was FLOAT BOAT and for perspective, the boat was 12 feet (3.658 meters) long. If you want to see the whole exhibit (including the garden displays that were not shown in the Florida exhibit) check out Denise's gallery on her page 17. Her photography is exquisite. Thank you for the recommendation Denise and for visiting my gallery daily, since my second posting, almost 5 years ago. Posting a bit early since we are heading up in Maine for two days. Please zoom.
Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments.
They are very much appreciated.

Wow – I’m glad you added the size it looked much smaller to me. Nice capture and a great B-day wish for MrsRatbag!

Superb colors and reflections, nice capture, Dana!
A superb shot and Birthday dedication. I like the colors and the light.
Beautiful objects, excellent shot, Dana !
happy birthday to you friend, Dana. cool glass of balls. has too zoom for checking if they were fruits.
Beautiful birthday dedi :)
Thank you so much, Dana; these boats full of balls were my favourite part of the exhibit. I see your boat is a little different, the boats in our exhibit are canoes, pointed on both ends, while yours looks more like a rowboat with that flat stern. Your shot is excellent, and really shows those brilliant colours and the shiny glass texture against the wood. I so appreciate the dedi! Have a wonderful trip!
beau cadeau!

Supeb shot and so colorful Nice dedi!!
Beautiful capture and dedication. Wonderful colors, textures, and reflections. I like the lovely translucency of the little yellow ball between the two big orange ones. Excellent shot! I saw another Chihuly Glass a week ago when I went to San Antonio's Main Library. You can see it here: http://blog.mysanantonio.com/sapl/2010/10/welcome-home-fiesta-tower/ The library is a very interesting building.
We saw a smaller version of the 'Fiesta Chandelier' called the 'Carnival Chandelier'.
A bit like the Titanic, over crowded lifeboats and the rest just drown... :o( On a positive note, Chihuly's art ROCKS and I'm very familiar with his work ! Nice dedication & ~Cheers~
Those glass balls are so beautiful!! xxx

Amazing capture !
Very cool and wonderful birthday wish for Denise
Unusual exhibit. They look like fruits, but could also be lollies... Or are they planets? :)
