About two weeks ago I made this picture.
In a corner
of an old farm
is a rain barrel
the stable door
open
for horses
for whom the ladder
I don't know ;-)
everything
in this still life
is old
but so alive
and shiny
as though
it's totally new.

What an "eye" you have for the different and unusual! I wonder what the barrel and the little green bucket are used for....in this well kept corner of the farm. Making barrels of oak is a skill. I used to know a Cooper and he allowed us to watch him making barrels, and banding them with iron straps. Again, your words are so lovely:-)
