Description
hope you all are having a super weekend so far, a dedi for a dear friend and a magnificent fantasy artist here. please visit her gallery for some of the most adorable images you'll ever see. (lisalisette).
i might have a regular job here soon, i've been working for a heating and air conditioning place off and on through prodrivers. i have filled in a few times in past 3 months, only bummer thing is a employee there died last weekend, he was counter sales worker, the current driver might be switched to his position and they will take me on as a employee at that time. the man who died name was Troy, he had a heart attack driving his motorcycle in the mountains, his wife was on the back of the bike. they hit a rail in the mountains and plunged 30ft before hitting the first rock. he died instantly and his wife is in critical condition. will be a week ago Sunday. GOD BLESS YOU TROY and Wife.. very sad, he was a cool person to work with. he left behind 2 sons and a daughter. all 16 and older, and not my favorite way of gaining employment .

Tragic story!!! Hope you get the job! fine art!
This is a tragic story but unfortunately it's life ... it was his time to leave and now, it's yours to find a job .... You have a done a great job here, the wings, the colors, the hair, evrything fit nicely together in that magical faery scene ... a great dedi for Lisalilette !
Very beautiful dedi, Steve!!!!!!
I've owned and ridden Motorcycles since I was 14, you know the risk every time you saddle up but the risk is worth it, I'd rather die "In the Wind" than in a Bed. Super work as usual man Peace Ride Free or Die
Lovely colours andd scsen! Excellent work and dedication!
your story is horrific...your image is lovely...hope you get the job. where i'm at if your over 45 and you've lost it you can forget it that is unless you have friends in high places...that's what it takes now especially...to know someone who is in a position to hire you...it's not about skills anymore not here. it's about how little they can pay and how few benefits they can give you, which is getting to be none. you'll be very lucky if you get that job...you said your 56 yes? age discrimination is definitely taking place. i have to share this with you and anyone who did not see it. i read an article a few days back on cnbc about a man with a wife and 2 or 3 kids under age who was making 125,000/yr. they did not specify but it read as if this was a long term position he had held. anyway he got canned and what really cracked me up was they drove him home in a limo. personally i have never exceeded 50k per year and rarely done that. according to statistics the 'average' american family are living on 25k or less, which is considered proverty level. and that's where i have been most of my life, in proverty especially growing up, even now but i've learned how to stretch and pinch and squeeze every little thing i can out of nothing and stayed away from debt. anyway this article was written in such a way to make you feel sorry for this man who made more in 1 year than i would make in 6 or 7 years. went on to say that he had lost his house...why did he lose his house if he made 125k for a long period of time? his house should have been paid for imo. then went on to say he and his family was living with relatives and that he had become ill and was seriously in debt for hospital bills as he did not have any insurance. didn't you get a cobra option when you where on ui? several people's comments where just as mine. this guy was living upper middle class and in debt up to his ass...why???125k per year...i can hardly imagine...i don't feel bad for him. he's had a good opportunity and made bad financial choices/decisions. i still can't believe he got laid off and drove home in a company limo. i've been laid off a few times and it was embarrassing to me and there definitely was no limo or any news co writing a pitiful article to try and make people, the masses, who don't even know what 125k per year is like, to feel sorry for him... sorry for venting but like i said i think there is something to be said and the middle class needs to accept that they are disappearing and get in the dirt with the rest of the masses...like i said he made bad financial decisions and obviously was living in debt or else the entire article was fabricated, which i don't think...it went on to say that he was going to be on some committee about jobs...so i guess he's gonna try and get into politics...:))) anyway i do hope you get the job although i'm sure it's not paying 125k. chills and thrills
I'm not a religious guy, Steve, and often I can't understand god's decisions (or whoever makes them). It's your chance for a better life. The only thing you can do now is to be as cool as Troy was. I wish you luck!! I nearly forgot: Beautiful image, Steve, and nice dedication!! ;-)
Beautiful image and dedication to Lisa. Sorry to hear about your friend and his wife. I hope she will recover. Sometimes the way life works is hard, but we have to make the best of it. Do your best and make Troy proud.
