Description
I realize that I post to many alligator photos and many will not like the looks of the out of focus top half of this posting. But most alligators are green or grey in color with moss and algae growing on their backs. This photo taken at the Atlanta aquarium, Georgia, US. I just wanted to show all of you, the beautiful markings and patterns that the younger alligators have that do not live in muddy and swampy conditions. A heavy schedule the past few days and behind in commenting. Do zoom to check out the details.
Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments.
They are very much appreciated.

they look hungry! nice detail below the water Dana. zoom is also cool.
Superb pattern, but very impressive animals! Excellent photo, Dana! De superbes motifs, mais des animaux très impressionnants, excellente photo, Dana!
A revelation! How beautiful it is, and how cleverly the pattern breaks up the form making the creature invisible at first.
I'm certain that's what this creature's last meal was thinking, just before he found him or herself snapped up and swallowed...
The underwater view is quite interesting Dana, great shot!
A super shot and a great zoom Dana and if we're bored to tears it's only crocodile tears!!!!.
