Description
I realize that I post to many alligator photos and many will not like the looks of the out of focus top half of this posting. But most alligators are green or grey in color with moss and algae growing on their backs. This photo taken at the Atlanta aquarium, Georgia, US. I just wanted to show all of you, the beautiful markings and patterns that the younger alligators have that do not live in muddy and swampy conditions. A heavy schedule the past few days and behind in commenting. Do zoom to check out the details.
Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments.
They are very much appreciated.

Like a half-submerged 'U-boot' (German spelling!) or should I say Submarines ? magnificent looking creatures from the Blue Lagoon ;P .... as long as they stay this size! fine capture Dana, BB
Very impressive !!
Stunning, my friend! And with beautifully painted nails, they have been just returned from a good manicure treatment, I guess :). I love this photo, with all the textures such sharp, Dana.
so clear done, great POV and very impressive objects!
very good shot
Il est évident qu'ils sont plus apte à aller dans l'eau plutôt que sur la terre, ce qui ne les empêche pas de courir parfois très vite. Merveilleuse capture une fois encore.
