Description

This is a piece of my recycled paper that I formed in the back yard.I added sawdust to the mix to give it some extra texture.I like the way the look resembles the rough concrete. It should be interesting to work with.I put this image under mixed medium because it is papermaking and digital photography. Thanks for any comments.Have a good creative week.

Jim, I was thrilled to see you working with your handmade recycled paper once again. Adding sawdust to the mix was a clever idea, and I also think the texture looks cool.

I heard on TV the other day that paper making has not basically changed since the process was invented but they have tried to reinvent trees that quickly grows providing lumber and pulp for paper you have lots of patience

Very cool work and concept, Jim. Recycled paper and artwork is a great and healthy idea for planet earth. A water colored cobble bot portrait is a nice idea.

Creativeness does a lot of good to the soul and making paper has always been fascinating for me, ever since the ancient Egyptians or the Chinese used papyrus and other plants to make it. I admire your sense of making the most of your imagination and skills.

Papermaking is an art in itself that really does go way back.In fact,it goes back long before any of the ancient people started to the papermaking wasps.I find their nest to be fascinating structures.

I saw on TV a man was showing how the China or the japan people was still making paper the old way. anyway he had to use bamboo to get it out of something to dry I think. he was not doing it right. the man who do it had to get it out and shook his head. Have you thought of selling this at the gallery you work?
