Description
Top image is Mary and the bottom is Abby, her daughter. They had just completed the Providence 8-Bridge Pedal and while I was waiting for my friend to finish his ride, I asked to take a picture of Abby's helmet. She flashed me a sweet smile and then her mom asked me to take a photo of her helmet.
if the reports are true, there were around 20,000 bike riders this year.
This year I did 8 bridges as Joe, my partner, was not quite in shape to do 10 bridges, though nest year, we will do 10 bridges!!
Thank you for your wonderful comments and faves.
have a great week!

what a sincere smile the daughter has
WOW!!! 20,000 riders is terrific! I like both helmets and I have found that athletes don't mind having their photos taken as much as a passerby on the street. I never have the guts to ask a Mom if I can take their daughters photo.
nice pair of shots Mike, i have not had a bike in more then thirty years, so my health is lacking alot. 20.000 is mega lots, xoom is super. wonder how many flats tires they all had in this ride.
Big happy smiles on both; great shots of these happy bikers!
