Description

Thinking about what it would change in your life if you could either go back in time knowing how things in your life progress, or if you could look ahead in time to see where the decisions in you make in life will lead. Hindsight is 20/20 they say, but the future is blind for all purposes. Wouldn't you like that glimpse ahead to know where those decisions you'll make will lead and where you'd go if you made a different one than you had made? What if I stayed in college, what if I didn't take that job, but the other one, if I chose to move to another town when I was younger, didn't buy that house... For nothing sucks worse than realizing the decisions you've made years later leave you asking the question: What if? Thanks for the peek!

When you look ahead, you see all sorts of paths that can be taken - BUT! when you look back, all you see is a straight path from the start to where you are at right now. Good philosophical question...(if I knew then what I know now)

Philosophical question aside, this is a very nice render. As a portrait photographer, I would have added more rear lighting to give better separation dark background on the hair and left shoulder, but this is nit picking. Great render.

A look ahead is far more frightening than any peek at past memories... To change one thing that lies ahead because of what you see in the future might change everything that might have been. excellent idea and a great render!

How far one can look in the future, there will always be a farther future Hope. So you keep asking yourself: What if? I would have showed her hair some more. But I like your model and her expression. 5+

Question is, "Are you happy where you are now?" I am, and all the decisions I have made, large and small, have led me down that winding path to where I am today. If the answer is "no", then questioning the decisions of the past won't change anything. Examine your current decisions and make wiser choices. Long winded, yeah, I know.....anywho.....really stunning portrait!!

That is the kind of question that will drive you crazy and make you unhappy most of the time. Looking backward is the surest way to trip. Concentrate on where you are going and believe that the universe will steer you in the right direction when the time comes. She is too pretty to be that sad looking.

a) I think the question "What if" leads to nothing ... because you can't change the past and can't look into the future. I live here and now and try to do my best. b) This image ... this portrait is outstanding!!! Wow!!
