Description
This 1840 Gallica shrub is practically thornless, which appeals to me more than the colour which is not to everyone's taste!
I love the shape of the buds.

Very lovely flower Great photo
Very beautiful Andrea.
I think it's a very beautiful flower, lovely vibrant colour, if only my garden had such colour, sadly the only colour in my world exists in my art as opposed to my garden, I once had green fingers but these days it all dies on me. This is a wonderful capture.
the color is beautiful
Perfect, lovely colour!!
Excellent colour &pic.
I actually love the color. Such a regal looking flower!
The tight bud of the bloom reminds me of a cabbage, what a great shot Andrea!
A stunner!
Stunning flower and shot. Great sharpness
beautiful flower and wonderful colors
How lovely colors :)
For me the colour stands out Andrea. Amazing capture. God bless.
aka Armand Jean du Plessis, cardinal-duc de Richelieu et de Fronsac: French pronunciation - (9 September 1585 – 4 December 1642), a French clergyman, noble and statesman. But I digress. Lovely color, blends and lighting effects in this macro of the celebrated rose, Andrea. Virtually what a beautiful pink artichoke might look like.
What a lovely blossom!
lovely
A spectacular color Andrea and I do like the shape of the bloom also!
