4 fires
( the Royal Gorge Fire)
yep were under FIRE again, our famous royal gorge park with 20 structures destroyed, ( all in the royal gorge park, no homes) 200 people out of work, 20% contained. the famous bridge still stands and sounds like no damage.
( The Black Forest Fire)
which is just northeast of our city. a very longed feared area for a fire, this place is like a matchbox and has finally caught fire somehow, up at this point 92+ homes are totally destroyed.
and two other fires are also burning in our state, we could smell the smoke from the black forest fire in the city.
please say a prayer for all these folks who lost everything. the good news is no loss of life at this time. my best friends daughter lives in black forest, her home currently stands, but she's been evacuated like many..

I knew you'd be posting something like this tonight, Steve. It's a very well done image and a nice dedi to Dave. Guess we're starting our fire season early this year :( We need some real rain very badly, all over the state. There's huge dust storms blowing away the crops down in SE CO. Really bummed about the Black Forest fire but glad no one has lost their lives as of now. Let's hope it stays that way!
