Description
Rachel's family got some bad news last week. Their blond Lab has cancer and there is nothing that can be done but keep her comfortable. Chris brought her home so the kids could get to say goodbye and get used to the idea. He will take her back to the Vet soon to have her put to sleep. Sean has started sitting with Dixie and feeding her one piece of dog food at a time so she can "get big and strong" again. It is breaking Chris's heart.

A very moving scene. Nicely captured.
To read your scenes of life Teri, we do not imagine in fact that there is(are) also of sad what should return those who are happy even more beautiful. I like as the children react in such a case and offer the best of themselves : "the gift of Love". There should be the example to be followed... Sorry to hear this : please accept a thought for them and for you my friend far off.
Beautiful and sad. I remember something similar as a child. George and Teffo
Hard moments 4 a pet loving family... as most animals feel what's going on, i'm just wondering what's in the mind of the dog... Anyway, beautiful compo and render ♥
You don't realize how much these membes of the family mean to you until something like this happens. I am sure they will alway cherish the memories of Dixie!
That's very sad but excellent done scene!
A touching and sad story to read. Very emotive render.
wonderful work!
Xcellent work
Wonderful work, Teri. A sad but beautiful image.
A lovely piece of work for a very sad time. She is clearly much loved and a big member of the family, as kids it's always painful losing a much loved pet, in many ways it's our first experience with loss in death, our loved pets and also in later life mum and dad and other members. Loved in this world as I'm sure she will be in doggy heaven. Bless her.
I'm sorry for their loss. It's really sad but very beautiful, touching image.
Sad story... -Trifid-
Oh, for us it was always a drama. Whether it's a hamster, a guinea pig or any other animal was ... We even ate something, my mother got a substitute fastest. But still with their beloved pet forget we never the years and experiences ... Beautiful, emotional scene!
