Thanks Guys, I really enjoyed taking these pictures. It was not the easiest because of the waves coming up at me while I am laying in the sand lol People walking and running by looked at me like I was crazy! But I am sure if they saw the end result they would understand. I am looking forward to getting some more glass of different colors and see what I can come up with. Well done! I like the lack of scale in this picture, I have no real idea if the glass is measured in inches or feet. I would have guessed a wise angle shot really close but I see this is not really the case. There is a lovely texture to the sand which contrasts beautifully with the smooth bevelled flakes of the glass. Also, the manmade glass plays off the pristine ocean.

This is stunning and so incredibly moody! The clarity is such an important part of this image and it's a beautiful abstract image that doesn't really tell you what it is or what it's about...It's like a template that provides only the most sketchy outline from which the viewer is invited to create his/her own story. I love images that do that and this is one of the best I've seen in an incredibly long time. Brilliant, inspired work! This is making a trip into my favorites!
@ Chipka - You hit the nail on the head with saying It invites people to make his/her own story. I pretty much wanted a picture that would do this. I thought this piece of glass would help lead the way and let people open their minds. In all my pictures I try to bring a mood or make the viewer feel something. That to me is the whole point of capturing something to view again. Not because its beautiful, but because it make to feel a certain way.
