Description
Taken with a Nikon D5100 18-55 Kit lens. I took this image into lightroom 4.4 and gave it a HDR look. Never done HDR before so this was a experiment...lol I thought it came out pretty good. Hope you all enjoy!

Beautiful - great use of HDR...
Came out great. There are both leading lines and curves and great tonal depth. What makes the shot for me are the two surfers, it just would not be as good without them.
@ brewgirlca - You are right, it is funny how the smallest thing in a picture can change the hole picture. I love that.
The surfers were among the first things that I noticed and I have to agree that they make this shot. It's a brilliant shot to begin with and I love the HDR/monochrome combination here. The mood is excellent and there are details upon details. Yeah, this rocks.
