Description
This is my six year old tabby cat, Miss Trina del Ray. She is very camera shy and so is a real bear to photograph. I've got some great shots of my neighbors cat, who is a real poser, but none from her.
But last Saturday morning Trina was sitting on the railing of my back deck. It was a cloudy, rather rainy day so she had no where to go but to be on the deck.
Anyways, I had just gotten up, was making coffee and didn't have much more than my nightshirt on when I saw her out there. So I grabbed my camera, which was on the kitchen table and fortunately had my 300 ml lens on it. So I could take a bunch of shots from the door without having to step out onto the deck and get the neighbors a bit worked up!
Any cat-calls from you guys about this shot?

She is very beautiful and she's thinking that the rain should go away! NOW!
I love furry little um, er... kitties. This one is beautiful Roxy, glad you were able to snap this shot off before she decided to stroll away.
Welcome miss Tina:-)))))OMG! She's so lovely!!Great shot Roxy I know how hard to catch their interesting poses! You always have to be vigilant with your camera Like cats:-)))))I know Because I have a spoiled princess too:-))))
This is a really great portrait of Miss Trina :) My cat's the same way about having her picture taken. Another bonus with the zoom lens!! Excellent work :)
love your cat hon..
She is lovely.. love the black and white. Good to see you 'posting' again.
What a lovely kitty portrait. Excellent close up really. Is she camera shy or just modest? Keeping the camera at arms length is payiing off!
excellent
The whole scenario that you describe just makes me smile, Roxy! You are indeed a true photographer! LOL! I'm glad you didn't get the neighbors too worked up in order to get this lovely shot – what a beautiful little lady she is! But you know she's going to charge you an arm and a leg for a model release, don't you? :-)
this is a great shot, it needs to be seen in full zoom. great shot
Sweet shot! ;~)
I’m more of a dog person but this beautiful girl could win anyone over - great capture!!!
This is obviously a super cat, very sweet shot! However...I think now that you described that situation, you owe us a shot of yourself in that nightshirt...
Great shot!
... and a beautiful baby it is :o]
I love cats. I miss my Natasha...she was one of those rather odd cats with so much more personality than her somewhat diminutive size would have indicated. And THIS is one beauty of a cat! Great shot. I can almost hear her purring.
This is a very beautiful photoshot of your beautiful cat Roxy.
a wonderfully detailed portrait of your extremely beautiful cat
Lovely cat and photo my friend!!!

Which is for a sumptuously cat and excellente capture.. The clear concentrated eyes, the fine whiskers and full fur. A proper decision Trina in b/w to present. She is a little personality!!
Excellent capture
A lovely Cat, great shot.
