...Gravity.
I guess.
This was (obviously) shot at night, the rockstack in question has actually been standing for almost a week now, which has continued to surprise me.
Today after I pulled into my driveway someone walking their dog stopped and informed me that I "Have a Strange Relationship With Gravity". We both laughed, and he continued on with his walkies.
I stood there looking at the rockstack and contemplated just how far that statement could go.
So tonight I ran out with a camera and attempted to get some of the feeling back.
As with all of my rock-stacking, there's no glue, no photoshop tricks, it's just gravity and friction, and my own perverse relationship with the two.

I really love the angle on this, Mike! With the angle of the camera, the flash, and the night background, it really gives this rock stack an epic look! If it wasn't for the blades of grass, one could easily think this was huge!
Gravity and balance...maybe gravity is the balance...yes, it balances all things and makes all things work together...now could you balance my checkbook...LOL!
