Description
This is me working in the darkroom in the newspaper I worked for.
Picture is from 1977 and I can still smell the fumes from the developer and fix.
Photoshop dont smell that good.
Notice the state of the art Leitz Focomat IIc.
Used a Nikon F3 for this shot and I am in the rinsing stage so I could put the lights on..........

Wonderful Work,
I so miss all those days in the lab... there was more "magic" back then! Great shot I am sure you treasure - thanks for sharing with us!
Oh, how things have changed. I grew up watching my dad develop film and print pictures in a room similar to this... Very nostalgic...and a superb photo too.
Beautiful picture!!!!
I developed some slides during the 70's, but quit. always a problem with the right temperature of water
Reminds me on old times and I smell it too...
Fantastic capture !
Appreciated..I could quote bmack and be right on for my memories.
LOL and I bet you were thinking to yourself 'If I put some blades on that enlarger, I could turn it into a radio controlled badass helicopter'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ah yes! My dad would develop film and I remember the smells as well. Very cool photo

Old memories....
I first took photography in High School just a few years ago haha and we learned all this, what great memories. It looks very similar to some of the equipment we used. Great to see this.
