It is almost surreal! You have done an excellent job with the composition by succeeding in giving scale as well as wonderful curves and lines. A great work of art and a stunning vista which I would love to visit. My eldest brother, who has lived in the US for three years and has travelled extensively in the US, remains of the opinion that Bryce Canyon is an absolute HAVE TO SEE attraction. It is therefore also on my ever increasing bucket list! :):)

OK. My sci-fi nerd is gonna speak for a part of this comment. This is what Frank Herbert was probably attempting to portray when he created the entire Dune universe (the Duniverse?). This is the Shield Wall, before it was destroyed by Paul Atreides' (Muad'dib's) illegal "atomics", which then allowed his Feydakin warriors (on their impressively big sandworms) to completely overwhelm Harkonnen and Saudakar imperial forces. OK...all Dune flashbacks aside (I really need to stop re-reading those novels!) This is amazing! This is one of those landscape shots that gives you a great, big ah-ha moment. Waves. Oceanic currents. But wait, where's the ocean? Nature's artistic prowess is always brilliant, and you've captured both the grandeur and the wonderfully intimate subtlety of this particular work in progress. This is awe inspiring. Oh, and it's pretty, too.

Oh, Tara, this is absolutely brilliant! The colors and patterns look so organic, like muscle. You caught it at just the right time. The light is perfect and the trees give the image a wonderful perspective. This one belongs on a museum wall. Yep, I'm jealous.
