Description
Another WIP of one of my upcoming DH2 Ultra coats- this one is "River", a beautiful bright red-gold chestnut. This is a totally unretouched Daz Studio 4.5 render of one of the first 4 textures/shaders I am developing. (There will be a total of 8 coming out this year). Aiming to release the first set of 4 around late May/early June. For another DH2 Ultra preview check out the link below!

Is that the mane that comes with the horse? That's not a post production mane is it? Love the color and the texture is fantastic! Nice work!

Hi Elektra- Thanks! and yes that is the mane and tail that come with the Daz Horse 2. While the DH2 mane and tail are a big improvement over the ones on the old Mil Horse I still plan on using my Mane N Tails products for actual artwork myself as the new mane and tail models on the Daz Horse 2 are still too limited for me.
Hi Richardphotos Thanks! I can definitely recommend the Daz Horse 2 and well.. my old Pro Coats at Daz aren't bad but they pale in comparison to the kind of results and detail that can be achieved with these new "Ultra" coats I am developing.

Wow such a glorious coat and so beautiful. Looking forward to seeing your final products. But the DH2 mane has a major issue of not reaching to behind the horses's head from the neck -ie there is a major bald area - can be clearly seen in you render above. Why on earth did DAZ make such a wierd and incorrect mane? For me sadly its a major let-down for DH2 and I hope a free corrected update is soon provided. I am brokenhearted about it.

Hi Savage Dragon Yep they will be for Poser too- the "Flash" preview shows both DS and Poser versions of the Flash MATs. (MATS for DS and P9/2012 have to be done totally from scratch in each program these days. Hence it taking so long to get these done right!:)
