Description
Preparing for grand opening of Hangar #2 at the nearby Flying Heritage Collection at Paine Field, Everett, Washington.
These men are making aircraft images of planes in the collection using tape!
...not sure how the original images have been outlined on the corrugated metal wall or what happens next...painting...or ???
Time will tell. The grand opening is scheduled for April 12, 2013.
Please zoom for detail.

Maybe they spray over the top and peel off the tape? I have no idea! They look fantastic though.
Wow, that is clever!!
Hi Bill :) I would love to see this live and up close. My guess is it will be painted... Hopefully you show us once its done? :)
Looks pretty cool Bill. I hope they are going to paint it, that will look very nice!
It is interesting to see how they are doing this large job.I hope that we get to see more as it progresses.
a very strong shot and the vertical lines on the building lends a dynamic feel
Can't wait to see your 'finished' shot Bill.

Excellent shot my friend, amazing image, fantastic work, marvelous in full screen!
WONDERFUL WORK
I think you should stay there and watch to make sure they don't do something you aren't noticing! I'm betting on painting, but maybe they're going to fuse the tape on and that will be the end of it? Hmmm.......
Interesting process. Hopefully you'll make it back there after it's done & post an update...
Painting I hope. Excellent Bill, keep us all updated on this :)
I agree with the majority here. It will look very nice if painted. Superb capture Bill. God bless.
amazing capture
Well whatever they do next, I think it's going to look great Bill, these outlines in, what i am assuming to be duct tape, or gaffers tape, are really neat!
Wow – talk about having an oversized canvas..... It will be interesting to see what happens with the finished product! Maybe they're going to apply paint, then strip the tape off? At any rate looking forward to seeing your photos of however this turns out! Great shot of this, Bill!
I can't wait to see what they do with this wall ... !! Terrific view of a fascinating work in process.
Nice capture Bill. I hope you will post a second one, so that we can see the result.

I'll agree this would be amazing if painted, but to be honest it looks amazing as it is!! I just hope they bought good quality tape :-) You'd hate to come to work in the morning and find it all hanging off :-0 A really interesting capture Bill, thanks for sharing....
