Seems an old issue has raised its ugly head again. Bullies. It seems with the cold weather, it's a bit uncomfortable to go to the local playground and beat up 8-year-olds, so they come here. Well for all those inbred maggots that get their jollies by hurting others, T.N.A. Girls Betty, Arawen, G4, and Melanie have a few words... Bring it, bitches! Don't bother running away - like the cowards you are - when you find yourselves outmatched. Ar's robotic buddy can run faster than a cheetah, and will sink its metal teeth into your sorry ass and make you cry "momma" as you get dragged back for more. Seriously - I think the best way to deal with these brainless morons is to expose their stupidity and make them the laughing stock of the whole community. First, forward their idiotic remarks to the admins.... Then have some fun with them. A couple years ago, I had someone make some snide comment about one of my posts - something along the lines of "Such crap being presented as art..." I took the ball and ran with it. Not only did I immediately create a similar work - just to irritate them - but for the next month, every post I created had some reference to "I love crappy art" placed somewhere in the piece - maybe on a t-shirt, or graffiti on a wall, or whatever. My friends loved it, and we all got a good laugh out of the whole thing. I call it the "Michelangelo Response." When he painted the "Last Judgment" mural in the Sistine Chapel, Michelangelo caught a lot of grief for the nude figures. Biagio da Cesena, the Vatican's master of Ceremonies, said that "it was mostly disgraceful that in so sacred a place there should have been depicted all those nude figures, exposing themselves so shamefully," and that it was "no work for a papal chapel but rather for the public baths and taverns." Michelangelo's delightful response was to paint Biagio in hell, in the figure of Minos, with a great serpent curled around his legs, among a heap of devils. The whole point is to not let these pathetic wastes of DNA ruin your day - and for crying out loud, don't give them the satisfaction of 'defeating' you by deleting your gallery, or leaving. That just makes them feel like they've "accomplished" something. Instead, stay. Create your art. Enjoy your friends. If they bitch about your rendering nudes, render LOTS of nudes. Stay in their face. It will drive them crazy....And ultimately out of our community. The detractor I described above has long since departed the community, and I'm still here... By the way.... I don't mind CONSTRUCTIVE criticism at all - in fact I welcome it. I've had a few suggestions from friends, and I appreciate it when someone cares enough to help me make my art better. There's always room to improve and learn. End of rant... Dang - now I've gotta give this a language tag..... I think the Doc's rubbing off on me! LOL!
