Description
My very good young friend Helen, fine artist extrordinaire, teacher and traveller. She has kept in touch ever since she was one of my household as a student, and visits me several times a year.
She has a year's contract at a very expensive private girls boarding school only 90 minutes away, so popped down this weekend to give me some perfume miniatures she found in duty-free!
Don't you just love that name brooch? They must cost at least £50 each. Mind you the school gets its pound of flesh. Helen works till 8pm two nights a week and every Saturday there is some sort of parents day.
Dry Brush filter.

Beautiful portrait!
Superb portrait.
Outstanding work Andrea. God Bless.
She seems quite amused. Excellent post work. (£50?!)
Helen looks a lovely kind teacher!!
The digifiddle lends this a lot Andrea. My art teacher at school was a bloke, he was absolutely useless!
Great artwork,klasse post work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love this glancing look and smile. Doesn't it make you feel so wonderful when a student lodger comes back for a visit - as a success? WOW!!!!!
I love her smile ... it reaches her eyes. :) She looks like a delightful person to know.
Personality overflowing. Yes, the eyes and mouth tell a lot about a person.
You have captured her character so well there, she looks a creative person with the self-assured nature of the capture. Nicely done.
