Poor folk forgotten that nobody remark. All this is very sad.
I agree with Cyve - This is indeed a very sad chapter of the 21th century!
You're journalist!!!!!!
Detroit Michigan is really bad, but I agree with you Richard they don't want help even in the cold winter they'll stay outside no matter what. This is a great picture of reality.
Life in the raw - not a pleasant sight.
Very sad indeed.
Such corners are happening everywhere.
and the reality of it is the shelters arent the best either , overcrowded and if your not there by a given time good luck getting a bed , about 1/3 of them wind up sleeping on the floors ... you have to watch everyone in them simply as you are clueless as to which will steal from you whilst your sleeping .... it isn't a pleasant thing to go through this sort of thing but the reality of it is for most low income and even some middle income families we are nothing more than a lost job away from bieng in this sort of ordeal ....
Nice work on this sad and dramatic photo Richard.
great capture
Shining done.
Sad to see it happens everywhere. Interesting capture. Aloha
80 % of the people pass over them..... and thinking is normal What a sad position for all of them !!!!imagine in winter minus zero???? ouffff ((5++))
Great thought provoking capture Richard!
A sad sign of our times!
Doesn't even look a bit exciting to me!
Not an enviable way of life
A sad reality for many... often accompanied with mental illness or PTSD.
Dramatic capture!
excerllent documental photography....!!!
It is not that they don't want help. They do not want the price tag that comes with the help. Nice shot though. Glad you were not beaten up for your camera.
It is nice to know that our Masters are taking care of business, their business! An excellent, but very sad image. A frightening sign of our declining society!!!!!
'The Land of Opportunity' has fallen on it's face.
This is a really sad scene Richard, excellent capture and message!
Very sad to have such conditions in the country today. Fine work, Richard.
I lived in Portland OR and watched many of these "hobos" rounded up, they really wanted to be left to their own elected life style. When it got cold, or they lacked food, they would migrate to shelters & the Salvation Army. They were not the "Poor Homeless", of course there are those as well.
Indeed very sad but where are the other people to help them?
What ever the reasons may be : It is dramatic to live in such a way. Well done still live Richard. frans
read about one that used to be a pro baseball player in Texas. not sure what team but people who saw him this way never knew it. He ok now as he find Jesus. cool shot and a wake up call
I often wonder how they survive in extreme cold weather. Interesting photo :) Cathy xoxoxo
