Description
...yesterday's posting showed the north end of Seattle's Century Link Field.
...today's photo is what I saw when I turned around. This area of Seattle is known as "SoDo"...or South Downtown.
...the large tower is part of the King Street Railroad Station built between 1904 and 1906 as Seattle's first major station. It has been undergoing a complete restoration returning it to its original glory. We haven't gone inside since the restoration but it is on our to-do list:)

A super cityscape and a must zoom Bill.
Quite nice venerable old tower!
The tower is elegant ij comparison to the utlitarian blocks. A terrific mono pic with so very many tones..wonderful.
Superb capture Bill. God Bless.
Nice skyline....
Great work! So nice in these tones, too.
I remember many a time pulling into King Station when I was younger Great capture
Looks like an interesting place to visit. Nice Bill.
A really lovely capture of this end of Seattle. Looking forward to see this Railroad Station, when it is done :)
my son spent some time in Seattle and was very impressed, especially by the food and the plethora of good beer, plenty of micro breweries around i believe. I love this shot
Great capture and postwork of this awesome cityscape!
Marvelous capture, love the B/W, the tower has stood the test of time amongst the newer buildings. xx
Nice shot, Bill! Love the black and white and it really gives you a feel for the place.
very nice
SoDo on your ToDo list. Wonderful array of b and w blends and lots of geometry in this cool postworked capture, Bill.
Nice shot. Aloha
cool shot
Nice shot - is that a nuclear blast detonating in the background?
A nice looking building, almost in style to some in Liverpool.. Like the black n white you've used here mate.. Good shot! Rob
That's a really great shot, Bill! I'm so glad to see all these old train stations being restored to their original splendor.
That Seattle? Looks SO different from when I was there in 1978! I was due to start research with a Prof. Everett at the Univ. of Washington, but he died shortly after my visit. Somehow, I just don't recognize this area - must be very rebuilt since my visit! Nice black-white job here. I like the hard contrast - reminds me of photos from the 1050s (Look Magazine, Life Magazine).
beautiful image I love the treatment!!
A fine B&W skyline.
