Description
The combination of a foggy, hazy day and an extremely low tide brought more people to the beach than you might expect at this time of year.
We planned for the low tide ... the haze was a welcome bonus. :)

Especially those gloomy days often bring out the best pictures. A faboulose atmo. I feel the humidity. Monochrom gets the picture a sharp breakdown. The fog let the group appear as silhouettes ..... "The, the come from the fog ...."

I also thought of shadow puppets, but more Turkish than Balanese, but also because of the absence of that nice Balanese lace. I love this shot. It's so deliciously stark in all of the right ways. Fog has such a nice effect. Low tide! THERE is a concept for you. Lake Michigan just gets sloshy (oh, and did you know that Lake Michigan got demoted? It's not actually a "lake" so much as it's a bay? First Pluto, now Lake Michigan! What is this world coming to?) Wonderful. It's so nice to see dogs out, walking their pets! I know a few dogs who will have you believe that's exactly what's happening here.
