Description
This is my newest acrylic work of a sad rhino.
The tree is their favourite trees where they take cover. The moon stands for the moon of death, cause the poachers here in South Africa kills them more during a full moon. The stairs is for how many are being killed every year and their journey to heaven. The sad look on the rhino is when a rhino lost a partner or baby. They have feelings, even if they are animals. Even when a baby's mom is killed and the baby is left to die, he cries like a human baby. The blood on the horn is for the blood that is shed when killed for their horns.
To date so many have been killed. Last year alone 668 were killed and every year it's getting worse.
This is a tribute to this magnificent animals and hope we can stop this brutality.

Extraordinary tribute to a beautiful animal, Antoinette. Sad that these things happen today. Poachers need to be stopped. They are also devastating the elephant for their tusks. Man is indeed the most dangerous animal on earth.

How sad the work might be, it gives so much tention to the cruelty of those butchers. It is different to the work I uploaded, in which I see death as a survive. Reading often your stories an the papers we soon won't have them anymore except as a 2D print to tell our children and grandchildren.

Yes humanity has outgrown it's self once they have killed all the animals then then there will only one prey left. I hope you never do a picture of the last Rhino :( Beautiful stuff amira
