I love a good beach scene. Wonderful. I like the way you have captured the exploding wave just right. I hope Tara and your good self had a great Xmas. Andrew
Reminds me of the beautiful waves breaking on the beach at Carmel by the Sea in central California. During the 1960s these waves inspired a lot of sea scape artists. This is a beautiful on-the-moment capture of such a dynamic happening. Interesting how the wave and the sky nearly have the same colors. Keep up the good work! :-)
There is something so very restful about all those delicate sepia colours, which contrast remarkably with the energy of the waves.
That's the PNW for sure; love that sepia/grey colour!
WOW, Fabulous in zoom, you can hear the waves crashing :o) Happy Christmas to you Tara & Mandy. xxx
Rolling surf! Don't you just love the sound of it.... Until it hits your legs! lol Hope you are having a great Christmas Bill and Tara.. Lovely shot mate! Rob
What a beautiful capture and I like thwe way you used the sepia.. for the sea and the beach, bur not the sky :)
this could be just about any day on the coast of Washington. Great capture Bill
Nice name for as paint color. Excellent shot of sky and wave.
I'm with Helle ... the delicate coloring makes this extra special. Beautifully done, hon! :*
Superb capture Bill. God Bless.
What Andrea said, except that I spell colours the American way -- colors.
SUPERLATIVE IMAGE!
marvelous image
Nice one Bill!
Awesome shot...
I love the differet textures of sky, beach and water. Very nicely done.
A gorgeous shot, Bill! Good to see a post from you my friend! I can almost hear the surf crashing and smell the salt air! Hope you and Tara had a wonderful Christmas, and here's wishes for a happy and prosperous 2013 from T.N.A. headquarters!
Great shot Bill. My favorite times along the shore were always during inclement weather - and it didn't matter which shore. As to your time in Cambodia during the incursion - I remember that. I was never a fan of Nixon, but I was glad he sent the troops in. But I also remember Kent State and the students that got shot. I thought of them as draft dodgers- but those were rough times. I am sure that during your stay in Cambodia you didn't have the time nor the opportunity to visit the Angkor temples.
slow power on display... great shot, Bill!
