Description
Happy 12/12/12 everyone! It won't happen again until the year 2112.
Someone suggested I show these tracks, previously posted as in and out of the fog, but this time in the sunshine. So, here they are, captured extremely early on 12/11/12, plunging in and out of the low hanging sun. I'm wondering if it was all worth it, because I was arrested for standing on the tracks by the local sheriff, UK style, immediately after I snapped this.
Incidentally, according to the Mayan calendar, December 21 is slated as the day the world comes to an end, so enjoy yourself in the meantime. At least you won't have to be concerned about Christmas shopping.
As for today, have a nice one.

Really nice photo Harry, they look great in the sunshine
Nicely done, the sun hitting the rails looks great. You think if the world is ending they would arrange it for Sunday evening or Monday morning, working the whole week only to find the world ends on the Friday seems a bit mean.
I love the way the sun plays off the rails here, Harry. Sorry to hear you were arrested shooting this. I guess I was lucky the one time I did it, but it was also in a very isolated spot. By the way, I'm fairly certain we will be posting pics on the 22nd.
Arrested??? Really??? I didn't know it was against the law, or are you pulling our collective legs, Harry? At any rate, it's a beautiful sight, those rails headed off into the sun, and you captured the view perfectly.
Denise: No, I'm just pulling everyone's leg and telling a big whopper because Andrea is always stressing that I would be arrested if I tried standing on the rail tracks in the United Kingdom.
Well if you had been it would have been worth it!
Glad you were not arrested, lol... Nice shot. Aloha
Fantastic shot!
I did like the photo of the rails in the fog but this one is even better Harry, love it. Yes it was worth it getting arrested in our UK style just for this result. Hope you managed to wriggle out of any bad results due to the arrest. hugs Jane zz
Lovely..brilliANT LIGHT
Cool idea AND shot Harry.. Well taken considering you've gotten no glare in it! Well done on that mate! Rob
