Description
This is another artwork in my 2012 Xmas Gift Art Project; this one was for my dad who enjoys playing his guitar. I stupidly gave him the print early and he didn't seem to like it very much. Said it was "blurry". That really brought me down and now I'm struggling to finish the remaining three artworks. :(
The shining effect was created using a mix of atmospheric lights inside Poser and then I enhanced the entire scene with lots of postwork in Photoshop including some free PS actions I downloaded and used as bases for enhancement layers.

I really like this, I love images with musical instruments, and the lighting in this is stunning!
The only thing blurry is the music on the wall. I think it has a significant meaning like days gone by or something like that. You should never try to please others. If you are happy with it then it is complete. After all his expertise is in playing the guitar, not in critiqueing digital art. I agree with Cimaira I really like this. Just give your Dad a hug and say I did it with love in my heart for you and just smile.
