Description
About two month ago we visited a sort of museum in the open air,
(in the forest) where they show the history of South Limburg.
Here you see 'the forerunner of the electric wheelchair' :).
At that time my Panasonic was under repair, so I had to do it with my little Sony.
Now and then I'll upload more photo's from that visit.
So here "The Oldies" no 1.
For who are interested, more about the museum:
At the edge of the Schinveldse Forests, half hidden among the foliage, lies the "Nonke Buusjke". A historical gem that is unique for the Netherlands.
It fosters a collection of South Limburg timbered houses and workshops from the beginning of the last century. Centerpiece is the restored half-timbered farmhouse.
Around the authentically furnished outbuildings as bakehouse, syrup distillery, carpentry, weaving mill, clog and shoe-making. There are also a vegetable, fruit and herb-garden.
Thank you very much for your visit.
Have a nice day, dear friends!
