Description
This is a painted after one of Mark´s (anahata.c) Lovely photos of the beautiful City Park in Chicago. In fact, it's in the middle of one of the most urban zoos in America. It is surrounded by highrises and yet you cant see it. An amazing place. I wish I could see it in person :)

Last week has been quite busy with so much different to do, but all was good and nice stuff, fortunately. Yet I hope this week will be a bit less busy :)
Weather today was almost making me go back to bed. Grey, dark, raining... boring, but better boring than hurricane, so I try not to whine about it LOL!

Lincoln Park Zoo is one of the best places in Chicago...the whole complex of zoo and park and lagoon is absolutely restful. It can be crowded and you wouldn't really know. You can visit the area and actually meet real urban swans and ducks and you might even seen an interesting shroom or two. You captured the mood of the place perfectly and I love that willow! I know that willow. I like willows. I like this painting a lot. Is it acrylic? The colors are superb and the details are so wonderfully done. This is super. And I can definitely say that you'd like Lincoln Park zoo. It's nice place, and you make this peaceful portion of it look particularly spectacular!

Beautiful painting, Helle! I love the way you did the water. There is a sense of motion, wonderful play of light, and great reflections. I like where the water and wall come together on the left. Lovely colors. The beautiful bush in the front with its mixtures of orange and green, ties together with the fall colors in the distance. I love the willow tree too. Very beautiful place. I'd love to go there too. I'm glad you are feeling better. I hope you are feeling great soon!

But I saw her and surely we spoke about about it in private, but wanted to tell you: It is wonderfully done and of course i recognize the place ! Love Your your colours.The orange and greens are quite beautiful and the reflections in the water always surprise me, withis media.There is a wonderful ligh in all the scene-Excellent painting Helle!
