Being the fact that I learned from my dad (that was a stone fitter) that I can appreciate this stone work as I have left my work at many locations back when I used to do this line of work for a living...From what I see here whomever did this work had much talent...Cool Capture Mike! ~smiles~
wonderful!! marvelous textures and shot!! Polenta?!! Polenta, mushrooms and stewed venison or fowl: The stewed venison is a typical winter dish that goes very well with the polenta. The stew is obtained by soaking the meat in wine, spices and vegetables for at least 12 hours. We accompanied the venison with polenta made with a mixture of corn flour and buckwheat, but if you want you can achieve it as you like, using the flour that you like. Since the polenta is very filling, along with stewed venison, it can be considered as a single dish to be enjoyed with your friends in cold winter days. or Polenta and baccala Vicenza style Ingredients: 4 people: 600 g of dried cod soaked, 1 onion, garlic, olive oil, anchovies, parsley, 1 glass of white wine, butter, flour, ½ liter of milk. Saute onion and garlic in a little oil, add the anchovies and let them dissolve, then add the chopped parsley and wine, let it evaporate, then add the butter and milk and prepare a baking pan with high sides, cod and floured pieces arranged in layers in the pan, each piece of salt cod, in the end, pour the sauce over the cod milk and bake at medium heat until the sauce is thickened. Boil a liter of salt water and abundant begin to pour in a handful of corn meal, pour with a wooden spoon and after a few minutes pour in the remaining flour, always stirring with a wooden spoon, the polenta is cooked when it tends to separate from the sides of the pan, pour the polenta on each plate forming a cavity in the center where you pour the baked cod sauce.
Great for the shadows, but I just love the rocks too. :)
