Here's a quickie upload for today...
We are now at Petit Jean State Park, Arkansas. It's a lovely place, and I hope we have a clear day tomorrow for hiking and photos. It was a cloudy, rainy day most of the day today, but it cleared enough to provide us with a nice sunset.
The lodge here is beautiful, and the food is great, but our room is.......dinky. Basically, it's a 12 x 12 foot box with a bed... It does have a nice TV, and it does have WiFi.. So life is good! LOL!
More photos tomorrow... I'll try to get a little bit caught up on comments tonight.
We should get home sometime Friday - then another week to relax at home!

Woweee this is one heck of a great shot and is your golden hour reward for a cloudy day. Don't wish for too clear a day 'cause it makes for lousy light. So I am gonna wish you at least some clouds for drama. You say you wanna go to London? Then take this opportunity and practice up now getting used to those 12*12 foot rooms because unless you are filthy rich those are pretty much what you will be staying in. Just like here they will have wifi and a good TV and the food in London is far better than what you traditionally think... thanks to a huge influx of Asian and central European types.

Ohhh, Rod!! This is just stunning! This is one of the best sunset shots I've ever seen - seriously. Gorgeous sky and colors and a fantastic capture. What Roxy said about London is absolutely true but I think she forgot to mention the room will cost you an arm and a leg.

What a gorgeous view and sunset, Rod! Currently all I see is the choppy ocean, but we're looking forward to retiring to the Smoky Mtns and seeing sunsets like this one. Thanks for sharing this and for the huge sense of inner peace that these sights always bring. :)
